Your goal in blackjack is to get as close to 21 as possible without going over. face cards (King, Queen, Jack) are worth 10 points each, and an Ace can be worth either 1 or 11 points. The other cards are their numerical value. If your hand total is higher than the dealer's hand total, you win!

If your hand total is lower than the dealer's hand total, you lose your bet. If both your hand total and the dealer's hand total are the same (called a "push"), your bet is returned to you.

Split: If you are dealt two cards of the same rank (e.g., two Kings), you may choose to split them into two separate hands by placing an additional bet of the same amount next to your original bet. You then play each hand separately. If either hand wins, you win double your original bet! If both hands lose, you lose both bets. 5 If you are dealt three cards of the same rank (e.g., three Aces), you may choose to split them into three separate hands by placing an additional bet of the same amount next to your original bet. You then play each hand separately. If any one hand wins, you win quadruple your original bet! If all three hands lose, you lose all three bets.

2 You cannot split a pair of deuces (two Twos). Double Down: After looking at your two cards, if you think you have a good chance of winning, you may choose to double down by placing an additional bet equal to your original bet next to your original bet. You then receive one more card and must stand (not draw any additional cards). If this card makes your total 21 or less, you automatically win!
